Why should I become a member?

Membership at CDMOD is your passport to a wonderful world of incredible, hands-on, interactive exhibits, special classes, workshops and Membership Appreciation events throughout the year. Come enjoy our exhibit galleries, trike track and sandbox, community gardens, art and celebrations room and covered picnic area.

Membership Benefits for All Levels include: Unlimited admission for one year; invitations to members-only previews, receptions, and special events; member newsletter.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, CDMoD relies on the generosity and support of our members. Your membership supports our mission of being a resource for children and families to experience the joy of learning about themselves and the world around them. The museum inspires personal growth by engaging curiosity and creativity through hands-on explorations of exhibits and programs.

Family Memberships

DISCOVER- $150

1 adult and 1 child living in the same household. The named adult must be present at the time of the visit.

GRANDPARENTS' CIRCLE- $750

6 Named Members. At least one named adult must be present at the time of the visit.

ALL ABILITIES FAMILY MEMBERSHIP- STARTING AT $225

To be used for Families that have children with disabilities or support needs. If Needed: Additional Family Members or another Aide can be added on at the bottom.
Includes 1 guest with disabilities or support needs, 1 parent/guardian, and an unnamed caregiver/aide.

Membership Policies:

Memberships do not apply for groups, tours, birthdays or for special events.
Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Photo identification is required at the time of visit. The photo should match the person whose name is on the membership.
CDMOD reserves the right to make changes to its benefits structure at any time.
Your membership will start on the day of your first visit and will be valid for 365 days thereafter.

The Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert is a member of the Association of Children’s Museums Reciprocal Memberships Program.

Grandparent and Friends of the Museum qualify for ACM reciprocal benefits at participating Children’s Museums.
