Museum Gift Store:
Just to the left of our main lobby, our Museum Gift Store offers great learning toys, perfect birthday gifts, bottled water, drinks, snacks and ice cream! Take a piece of the Museum home with you!
Accessibilitiy:
The Children's Discovery Museum of the Desert strives to be equally available to guests with any level of physical, visual, auditory or cognitive challenge. Wheel chairs and walking apparatus is welcome of course!
First Aid:
First aid can be requested by alerting a Museum staff member.
Hand Sanitizer:
Our Hand Sanitizer station is located at the main entrance to the Museum gallery- Sunny reminds everyone to wash their hands with soap and water!
Infant Area:
An infant area is located in the west end of the Museum exploration gallery adjacent to the Pizza Parlor and Grocery Store exhibits.
Lost and Found:
Feel free to stop by the Main lobby desk for check for lost items. The Museum is not responsible for lost items but we do our best to reunite you!
Restrooms:
Restrooms and changing tables are located in the main lobby to the south and in the Museum exploration gallery near the stairway to Grandma's attic.
Strollers:
Stroller parking is available in the main lobby. Strollers are not allowed in the museum exploration gallery due to fire and safety codes for our city. Please take all valuables with you.
Water Fountains:
Remind your children and grandchildren to "Stay Hydrated!" Water fountains are located on the south wall of the main lobby and in the Museum exploration gallery near the stairway to Grandma's attic.
